Employment of the Disabled
Employment of people with disabilities is an integral part of ISS employment policy.
ISS employs 11 staff members with physical disabilities both in offices and in workshops. They occupy positions suited to their physical limitations and which pose minimal risks in terms of health and safety.
In addition to providing employment, ISS purchases products and services from organizations designated as employers of the disabled such as the Exodus Citizen’s Association, the Irisa Cooperative Society, the Senza Workshop, Inzep Centrum Ltd., and the Kampi Office-Cooperative Society.
Cooperation with secondary schools and universities
• The Secondary Vocational and Technical School in Vsetin (SPŠS)
• The Josef Sousedik Secondary Vocational School in Vsetin
• The University of Pardubice, Techno-chemical Faculty, Institute for Energy Materials
Practical Experience
Secondary school students often ask for hands-on practical work experience with our company. Due to risk factors in operations and capacity issues, the number of student opportunities is limited. Despite this fact we enable students to gain work experience at ISS whenever possible.
Excursions
Students of University Pardubice have the opportunity to visit our company and see selected operations in action. Excursion terms must be agreed upon in advance by ISS management to ensure qualified supervision.
Graduate Theses
We offer students cooperation with their theses.
